On April Fool’s Day (No joking), we have done a lot of invasive scouting along with banner painting to welcome the Earth Month! We haven’t been back to SAW for three months, and we are glad to be back to conduct ecological work again! Stay tuned for more activities during this Earth Month!

Thank you everyone for helping Red Bison tabling on NRES symposium! Congratulation to Gary Liu, our membership director, for successfully presenting his research and obtaining one of the first prizes!

Thank you everyone for helping remove honeysuckles and mulberry trees that morning. Some mulberry trees were so large that require collaborations to remove and carry. Yet, we are glad to see all your smiles and joy on this activity!

Red Bison, Champaign County Forest Preserve District and Illinois Outdoor Adventure Club were helping brush burn and prolific woody bush honeysuckle removal on that Saturday morning! The weather was warm, and the sun shined on the lake, making it light a large diamond. Thanks everyone for all your contributions! May you enjoy such a wonderful experience. Remember, plants, including the invasive ones, have souls too!

Like the previous workday, we have removed a large number of invasive honeysuckles and autumn olives by the Grand Prairie Museum in Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve. We are glad to see all your joy and dedication! Meanwhile, we all have learned a lot through this process! Remember, plants have souls too!
